Jeffrey L. Crabtree, OTD, M.S., FAOTA, is an associate professor in the Department of Occupational Therapy. Crabtree is the founding program director of the Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) Post-Professional Program and the director of the Community Mobility & Participation in Society at the school. He’s also an affiliate research scientist with the Rehabilitation Research Design & Disability (R2D2) Center at the University of Wisconsin-Minneapolis. In 1993 Crabtree was enrolled in the Roster of Fellow, American Occupational Therapy Association. During his tenure at IUPUI he was the recipient of multiple teaching awards, made over 30 peer reviewed national and international presentation, and published over 15 peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters. He has served on the American Occupational Therapy Association’s Ethics Commission Disciplinary Council since 2008 and has been a member of five journal editorial boards. Crabtree received a B.S. in Occupational Therapy in 1975 from the University of Washington, a. M.S. in Health Science in 1995 from San Francisco State University, and a Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) in 1999 from Creighton University.
