Deanna Hart serves as director of student success and is a staff member in the Office of the Dean for the School of Health & Human Sciences. Hart is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating a comprehensive strategic student enrollment plan to include outreach, recruitment, and enrollment. Hart oversees the on- and off-campus recruitment, pre-professional advising, admissions, matriculation, and enrollment processes for graduate and professional programs, and manages the staff who support these processes. Hart collaborates with the departments and the Directors of Marketing to create communications about degree program requirements and events. Prior to beginning her appointment at the school Hart was at the Kelley School of Business Indianapolis for eight years, serving in both staff and faculty roles. Hart was the recipient of SHRS Staff Award for Demonstrated Excellence in 2017. Hart graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University with a B.S. in Management in 2008, and received her M.S. in Adult Education in 2011 from Indiana University. Hart is a member of the IUPUI Council for Graduate Student Affairs, the IUPUI Graduate Recruitment Council, the National Association for College Admission Counseling, and a life member of the Indiana University Alumni Association.
