Lamia Nuseibeh Scherzinger, MS is a Lecturer for the Department of Kinesiology.
She is a clinical exercise physiologist who well-known for her expertise in online instruction. Scherzinger has been with the School of Health & Human Sciences since graduating with her Master of Science degree from Indiana University. She also has worked as a health coach, personal trainer, and health screener.
Scherzinger was recipient of the ?Course of the Week? award 12 times over the last two academic years by CourseNetworking, an academic platform that encourages engagement and interaction on the part of both the online student and instructor.
Scherzinger graduated from Indiana University with a B.S. in 2004and received her M.S. in Clinical Exercise Physiology in 2007 at Indiana University.
Scherzinger has been a leader in online teaching for her Department, become an online instructor in 2011. She has presented on the subject at conferences for FACET, Canvas, and the Assessment Institute. She is the only 100% online faculty member in her Department.
