Sean Sreniawski, M.P.A.S., PA-C, ATC, is the clinical education director in the Department of Physician Assistant Studies. He has over 15 years of sports medicine and orthopedic experience covering and treating musculoskeletal injuries for a vast array of teams including US Men’s and Women’s soccer, Orlando City soccer, USA Rugby leagues, and DePauw University. Before beginning his appointment as faculty at the School of Health and Human Sciences, Sreniawski was a physician assistant in orthopedic surgery and sports medicine for OrthoIndy from 2013 to 2016. Before that appointment, Sreniawski served as a surgical physician assistant in pediatric orthopedics at Orlando Health, a high school science teacher in Winter Park, Florida, and an athletic trainer for Athletico Physical Therapy in Chicago. Sreniawski graduated from DePauw University with a B.A. in 2000, Indiana State University with a M.S. in 2001, and University of Florida School of Medicine with an M.P.A.S in 2011.
Sreniawski became a faculty lecturer in the IU Department of Physician Assistant Studies in 2016. He’s also served as the admissions coordinator in 2017 and on the school’s diversity committee. He was appointed clinical assistant professor in 2018. He currently serves as academic coordinator and faculty advisor to the Physician Assistant Student Society. In addition to his other duties he still continues to work clinically at OrthoIndy Urgent Care Department. His favorite topics of discussion include fracture care, anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction, pediatric orthopedic injury prevention, and musculoskeletal imbalances.
