Academic Advising

Get a head start toward earning your degree

Academic advisors are the best resource to guide you toward earning a degree in the School of Health & Human Sciences. They are here to assist you with:

  • Making progress toward degree completion
  • Scheduling classes
  • Navigating school and university resources
  • Understanding policies and procedures
  • Making connections with faculty and staff
  • Finding opportunities for co-curriculum learning including student involvement, volunteering, and more
  • Understanding how to use university academic and career planning tools

Make an appointment

Plan ahead and schedule your next advising appointment with the school's Office of Student Engagement and Success. Appointments are available Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. except the first week of classes for a fall or spring term, when advisors see students on a drop-in basis only.

If your major is in the school you should always select Meet with My Advisor(s). If you're a University College student or a student in another school considering majors, minors, or certificates in SHHS select Meet with Other Advisor(s).

Schedule an academic advising session
