Why PA @ IU? Ask our Students.

Indianapolis is your educational playground.

Indianapolis is at the center of it all.

As a student in one of our health care programs, you are in walking distance to four of Indiana’s leading hospitals, will benefit from a partnership with the IU School of Medicine, the nation’s largest medical school, have the opportunity to work with cutting edge researchers, and have access to over 400 community and clinical partnerships.

I chose the IU MPAS program because of their success rates on PANCE exam, the cadaver lab, thevariety of clinical rotations, their access to the School of Medicine resources such as the library, and the numerous hospital affiliations.

-Alexa Schofner, Class of 2021

To provide the best possible climate for learning, we make co-curricular and curricular community engagement part of our culture, delivering rich, real-world learning experiences for students.

Work in the IU Student Outreach Clinic, a free, student-run clinic that provides primary care-based medical, services for the uninsured and under-served in the Indianapolis community.

Want to make an impact as a student in one of our graduate and professional programs? Let us help you forge your path.

The faculty has been nothing short of amazing. They are all so down to earth and always make me feel comfortable to talk with them about anything, getting to know us not only as professional students but as people too. They go above and beyond to answer questions and guide our learning and are always open to changing or evolving things within the program. The faculty genuinely value student feedback.

-Amy Capinegro, Class of 2021

Some of my favorite experiences in the IU MPAS program have been getting hands-on experience within the Fairbanks simulation center, which includes practicing placing chest tubes and central lines, birth simulations, and performing ultrasounds.
