Eligibility requirements

• Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. We calculate cumulative GPA on courses with grades that are recorded on official university/college transcripts.
• You must have taken at least one undergraduate statistics or research methods course with a grade of B or better.

Prior coursework applied toward degree requirements

Upon the recommendation of the health sciences department chair and with the approval of the School of Health & Human Sciences curriculum and academic policy committee, up to eight credit hours of graduate work may be transferred in partial fulfillment of degree requirements. No course may be transferred from another institution unless the course was completed with a grade of B or higher within five years before matriculation in the master of science degree program.

Application instructions

1. Plan to secure three letters of recommendation (not a relative). You will need the names and email addresses of your submitters for the IU CAS application. Please make your recommenders aware of your application and deadline, and give them three to four weeks to prepare. They will be sent a link to submit the letters.
2. Craft a personal statement,300–500 words, of academic and professional goals, plus reasons for your interest in obtaining a position in the health-care industry.
3. Request official transcripts from all universities and colleges attended. Please allow additional time for international transcripts. 4. Understand you will be required to interview with a graduate faculty member involved in admission
5. Be prepared to pay for application.
6. GRE test scores not required.
