Make an appointment

Plan ahead and schedule your next advising appointment with the school's Office of Student Engagement and Success. We offer in-person appointments as well as virtual appointments. Appointments are available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. except during the first week of classes in the fall or spring, when advisors see students on a drop-in basis only.

Get access to the Student Appointment Scheduler (SAS) in One.IU.edu. If you need help using the scheduler check out the instructions on the knowledge base website.

Drop in for quick answers

No chance to schedule an appointment? Drop-ins are available for quick questions, but should not be used for course planning. Drop in during these times whenever regular classes are in session except during priority registration.

  • In-person drop-ins are available in PE 250 on Wednesdays, 10 a.m.–2 p.m.
  • Online drop-ins are available via Zoom on Wednesdays, 10 a.m.–2 p.m.

Using Zoom

If you've scheduled a virtual appointment, please log in to your advisor’s personal Zoom room (provided in your appointment confirmation). The Zoom room will utilize your microphone and camera so you can hear and see your advisor. You will be directed to wait until you are “admitted” into the room so another meeting is not interrupted.
