Get a head start toward earning your degree

Academic advisors are the best resource to guide you toward earning a degree in the School of Health & Human Sciences. They are here to assist you with:

  • Making progress toward degree completion.
  • Scheduling classes.
  • Navigating school and university resources.
  • Understanding policies and procedures.
  • Making connections with faculty and staff.
  • Finding opportunities for co-curriculum learning including student involvement, volunteering, and more.
  • Understanding how to use university academic and career planning tools.

Make an appointment

Schedule an advising appointment with the school’s Office of Student Engagement and Success. We offer in-person and virtual appointments Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. except during the first week of classes in the fall or spring, when advisors see students on a drop-in basis only.

Drop in for quick answers

No chance to schedule an appointment? Drop-ins are available for quick questions, but should not be used for course planning. Drop in during these times whenever regular classes are in session except during priority registration.

  • In-person drop-ins are available in PE 250 on Wednesdays, 10 a.m.–2 p.m. 
  • Online drop-ins are available via Zoom on Wednesdays, 10 a.m.–2 p.m.
