Physical Education Teacher Education

Making futures brighter through physical education

Physical education teachers transform lives. For some children, they’re the first adults to promote healthy, active lifestyles.

Our program for preparing physical education teachers was the nation's first, meets all standards of the Indiana Department of Education, and is founded on the guidelines of the National Association for Sport and Physical Education.

You’ll earn an all-grade Indiana teacher’s license for physical education, and you’ll have many options for student teaching.
